The New Horizon band of The Villages has a concert at Laurel Manor on Saturday May 10th. Tickets are $5.00 at the door. The concert is at 3:00.

What genre of music?

We play all sorts of good music. Some marches and other just plain good concert pieces. I hope you can make the concert.

What is an example of a concert piece that you play? Big Band? Classical? Easy listening? If you could give some song names, it might clarify what it is you play.

Gershwin Classics, Highlights from the Wizard of Oz, Hogan's Heroes March, Rough Riders,Fiddler on The Roof, And All That Jazz, My Fair Lady, and Nessun Dorma are a few of the pieces we are playing. The concert is about an hour and a half long.

if you are not familiar with The New Horizon Bands this is a quick idea of what we about. New Horizons is international. it is about older people getting back to music. Many of us have not played since high school. It was 40 years for me before I joined 9 years ago.
