More problems at sinkhole
My husband was walking this morning about 5:30 and as he passed the houses where the sinkhole was in Buttonwood he noticed the concrete fill had dropped about 8 feet. Now there's a helicopter overhead. Looks like the problem is not solved.

Yo G, order me a dozen egg rolls.

Besides the engineer who spoke for the remediation company, who didn't see this coming?

Channel 9 is covering it.

According to the news the sinkhole has begun to grow away from the cement and the cement has sunk several feet. These homeowners and their neighbors must be super upset. Nothing funny about it; it is very sad for all of them.

Is the concrete just settling in as it cures in the sinkhole

Hopefully no one stated it would be a quick fix. I certainly hope no one expected a one and done with mother nature. That concrete has a lot of nooks and crannies ti fill.

2. one entrance in and out of the development. For the sake of the residents, they need crowd control. 3. whether it has gone beyond "some settling" is pure speculation. Wait until you hear from the Engineer/Geologist.... |
