TOTV Monthly Luncheon at Crispers ..... Friday Jan. 18 at 3 PM
 

I suggest that the time of our first TOTV luncheon planned for Friday, Jan 18, 2008, be changed from 1 PM to 3 PM.

Yesterday I talked to the manager of Crispers to make sure there would be available tables and staff for the first TOTV luncheon. To my surprise (Duh), he said they would be "packed" at 1 PM because the snowbirds are here. And that we would definitely have a problem getting seats together. I think the whole idea is to get tables together so we can sit and talk.

The manager said by 3 PM the restaurant should be almost empty and there will be lots of tables and space available for our members to meet and chat.

If this is OK with y'all, could someone please update the TOTV calendar as I don't know how! Sorry if this time change inconveniences anyone.

I have adjusted the Jan Calendar entry to reflect a 3pm start time.

Please note...the luncheon/meeting is on FRIDAY, Jan 18th;

Only the originator of a calendar entry can delete or modify it.

If anyone has white sticky labels, it would be great if you could bring them for name tags!

I can probably bring a camera or two. For one, we'll have to wait til film is developed for the pics, but do have a digital (not as nice as Jan's, though).

Kathie, leave the throwaway at home. Between my Canon for serious pics and the Nikon or Olympus digital, we'll have enough cameras that will do the job.

This is sooooooo exciting. I can't wait to see all the pictures. HANDLES, please use them on your name tags as well. I can't wait to get there April 16-22 for my lifestyle preview. I'm hoping there will be a TOTV luncheon during that week. PLEEEEEEEASE! It's amazing to me how quickly it seems Barefoot and Scottke have become Veterans. Please keep the opinions and observations coming, love to read them.

For sure we will have our TOTV "handles" on our labels! :beer2: And I'm sure one of the computer wizards will know how to post the pictures. Crispers has an outdoor patio. If we have a big crowd and it is a cool day, some of the Chat Pack may want to sit outside, so don't forget your earmuffs. cold

This might be a little premature but does anyone know when the February totv meeting will be? Too many senior moments these days and I need to write it down so I wont forget.

Also, will it be at Crispers or does that depend on the size of the crowd?

Nonie, I think we were saying we'd keep it at crispers until we see how big the crowd is.

Any chance we could schedule the April meeting for the 27-May 1st?

We'll be in TV on a preview during that week. I know it may be impossible with the number of snowbirds that flock back home at that time but i thought that I'd throw out the dates.

Moving to TV on 1/22 and hopefully with be at the February Crispers gathering. I will be the one knitting on the bench - can't wait to meet all the pleasant people who have become part of my Villages experience on this wonderful board.
