Male yellow lab

We have seen on several occasions, a large male yellow lab without a collar running around our neighborhood in Rio Ponderosa. Someone has either lost him, lets him out unsupervised or he escapes regularly. We do not know if he is aggressive but we are concerned as our own dog is of course inside and on a leash when walking - law in Florida! If anyone knows who this dog belongs to, please let them know that he is running loose, before Animal Control come along to capture him, thanks

If he is a "complete" male he may have smelt a young lady that is in heat, no stopping those guys, hopefully owner will miss him and claim him.

We've had several labs (rescue and foster) over the years. All ours tend to dart out any open door or window. We have to be extremely careful, but there have been times when we're running down the street shaking the treat container. Could you try to get the dog to come to you? They should have a tag and you could speak with the owner. Our one rescue got out twice in a 7 month period and the neighbors always knew where he belonged and would try to corral him for us. Some Labs can figure out how to turn door knobs!

I thought there was a thread last winter about a yellow lab running loose, but I searched and couldn't find it. Maybe someone remembers it.
