A Great Day Trip Kennedy Space Center
 

Sunday morning we decided to go for a drive to the coast and ended up at the Cocoa Beach Pier and the Kennedy Space Center. The last time we were there was in 1991. Wow! What a change! And what a tribute to the Apollo and Space Shuttle programs. We were a bit shocked at the ticket price ($50 ), but it was well worth every penny! The Cocoa Beach Pier was pretty cool also. Watched surfers for about an hour and realized we should have tried that about 20 or 30 years ago! We left at 8:00 am this morning and we were home by 5:00. A great day trip! :thumbup:

We go 2/3 times a year and take guest there and always have a GREAT time. The Shuttle ie SUPER.

Thanks for the reminder of how wonderful the Kennedy Space Center is. How long did it take to drive? What route did you take? I know Google would tell me, but I would rather hear it from a human being who has been there (LOL).
