Presidential Book of Secrets

I just saw National Treasure: Book of Secrets at the Rialto Theater.

It mentions a Presidential Book of Secrets. Yea, right. You really think politicians could keep secrets like this? The plot of this movie mentions a book where all the national secrets of the US are kept like information on Area 51, the first man on the moon, the Kennedy Assasination, etc.

You would probably have big time presidential campaign backers brokering on getting in on the secrets just so that they could be part of the in-crowd. How many pages would Obama want to show Oprah?

Leahy and Byrd would have White House personnel up before their committees in no time. Within a week, the NY Time and MSNBC would be demanding a special prosecutor to investigate perjury charges. Remember, these are the same people who managed the Bay of Pigs invasion. Ain't no secrets in DC. :realmad: 024

I am with you. A book like this would not be secret for long with the number of staff at each different White House's tenants and other people coming in and out.

They are "tenants" at the White House paid for though by taxes.
