One can only assume that unless the floor was wet causing the man to fall, or he stumbled, it probably was not the fall that caused his death. He more likely had a heart attack or possibly a stroke that was fatal and that caused him to fall. Again, no one can know what happened without an autopsy. I almost didn't respond to this, because what happened should only matter to the family. But I frequently hear people pass along what they hear or think happened (and this is not directed to the poster) when they really don't know.

There are many leaving us here in The Villages every day. There are four funerals this week at St.Timothy's Church alone. There were 209 last year there.
Our hearts ache for those who loved this man and all who have lost a loved one.
For the rest of us, we all have limited time to spend on this earth. We ought not to dwell on it, but try not to waste the time we have and enjoy life and not worry so much about the small stuff. And it is all small stuff.
Some family is grieving for their father, husband, brother. Death can be very unexpected.
