Sugar, sugar, sugar
|
And it's addictive!
|
And it's highly refined with no nutritional value.
|
And fat free foods are laden with it.

...and it tastes great! No wait, that's not really the point of this is it? :-) I'm with you. It's probably the most addictive substance in America.

Check Shredded Wheat and Puffed Rice and Puffed Wheat. No Sugar!
But unless you want to eat it dry, there is sugar in the milk. Which I prefer it with beer. Z |
Believe it or not....so is wheat (gluten) addictive and instrumental in gaining weight and causing inflammations inside your body! The OP is correct re: sugar being in everything!!! It's in many different forms in processed foods (if you have to read a label, open a box or a can it's probably in those). Did you know that there is sugar in table salt? Himmalayan salt is probably the best for you. Gluten and sugar are also in many seasonings one would purchase. So for optimum health and getting rid of the inflammations one needs to research and make changes.

Read the book "Sugar Busters" and you'll make all efforts to stay away from eating it. It's supprising to find that carrots are even a no no.

What I found amazing is when I was on the Atkins Diet and off all sugar, when I would eat fresh fruits and Vegetables there is a natural sweetness that you don't taste when your system is overwhelmed by sugar.
