New Recreation Centers
 

I see in The Villages News that plans for two new rec centers have been approved. We are new to TV. Can you tell me where these new centers will be?

According to the 2014 Street Map there are plans for a Village Recreation Center to be named "Tequesta" and a Regional Receation Center named "Rohan". Both are located on Morse south of Hillsborough. The Regional Receation Center is planned for the corner of Morse and Hwy 44. The center is rumored to have a 18 court Pickelball complex. Across from the Rec. Center will be the Soaring Eagle Softball Complex.

I think the ones you are referring to are replacements for older centers. Tierra del Sol was a small rec center and they are building a larger one to replace it. El Santiago used to be a small restaurant that closed. The new center will be multi-use with a potential small spot that can be used for a concession stand.

Tierra is located on San Marino Drive and El Santiago is located on Enrique, both north of 466.
