PROSCIUTTO e MELONE
It's back PROSCIUTTO e MELONE 1 cantaloupe 12 slices of prosciutto (Italian ham, very thinly sliced)Slice the cantaloupe in half and remove all of the seeds. Evenly cut each half into 6 wedges giving you a total of 12. Remove the rind from each wedge. Wrap the prosciutto around each wedge. You can also use this recipe with honeydew. CHILL until ready to serve. Nice any time of the year, but especially during warmer months Refreshing and tasty. Inexpensive to prepare. NOTE: Serve a mixed fruit salad for the non meat eaters.....always popular with everyone.....especially the children......... or a fruit platter surrounding some flavored yoghurt for dipping. (Strawberries, watermelon, blueberries, pineapple, etc.,etc. |
