public transportation in tv

are all tv's new and old residents aware that sumter county transit now stops at all the major shopping plaza's in tv including colony plaza out on 466a. the daily sun publishes the schedule regularly and scheduled stops as well as door to door trip info is available by calling 568-MOVE.

I had noticed bus stop signs at the mail boxes and wondered about them. Thank you.

Is it possible to go all the way to Orlando via the bus?

I know you can take Greyhound to Orlando from Leesburg, and the counties bus does go to Leesburg, so can be done that way.

It would appear that the answer, for now, at least, is, "No."
There's a relatively new service in Lake County <www.RideLakeXpress.com> which will eventually get you as far east as Mount Dora, that's all. I've heard that they're hoping to expand beyond that and make a connection with Orlando/Orange County's Lynx system. I suspect, however, that that's a way down the road.
There's apparently a Lynx service to Orlando from Clermont, but no connection from there to here :(
I'd have to guess that attempting to travel from TV to downtown Orlando by public transportation would be a nightmarish experience! :joke:
