I guess that hugs are really forbidden. :22yikes:
Handshakes and hugs make people feel connected.
I'm not stopping.

When I was a kid I ate dirt, played in dirt, and lived to tell about it. We just need to get over ourselves.

Let's start a Village fist bump.

This might be true if you are a doctor dealing with a patient with MERS. I remember my vet joked that she would not let my dog kiss her because I had mentioned that he eats his own poop. He did not do that on that day and I try to clean it up before he can get it. But he is really fast.

If people have not be getting sick from shaking hands over all these years, why would they be doing so now? What is the evidence that this is bad for hygiene?

Matzy 05-20-2014 07:46 PM

Well, well, in the past when doctors were not completely connected to all the electrical machinery they have now, they shook hands and knew immediately what was wrong with their patients.

Article:: ""They recommend we develop an alternate greeting that doesn’t involve touching. And one that won’t insult someone."" Was that why A. Hitler developed the "Deutsche Gruss"?

Will this club have a secret hand shake ?

JP 05-21-2014 07:41 AM

I have never really liked handshaking(I had to do it a lot) and prefer fist bumping. Sweaty palms really gross me out especially after someone just sneezed or coughed into them.

How about we all just flip each other off. How absurd is this article.
