Explosions this morning
 

Are they bombing in Pine Castle this morning or are the explosions coming from somewhere else? Within the last 15 minutes, rattling the windows.

Don't know. But sure rattled had it here in Duval

Pine Castle is the military bombing range in Ocala National Forest. They schedule the bombings there but have not seen a schedule for this week.

I heard that as well. Glad someone else did!!!

Wasn't sure what that was -

It shook our house. Wonder what it was. We live in Amelia and it sounded like it was an explosion around Leesburg.

Pinecastle Range Complex Training Schedule
Navy training schedules indicate that live bombing will take place at the Pinecastle Range Complex located in the Ocala National Forest on the following days and times:

19 MAY 9:40 a.m.-7 p.m.
20 MAY 9:40 a.m.-7 p.m.
21 MAY 9:40 a.m.-7 p.m.
22 MAY 9:40 a.m.-7 p.m.

The telephone number for noise complaints is 1-800-874-5059 at Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility Jacksonville.

So it was not Stonecrest attacking Spanish Springs. That’s a load off.

Thought it was Godzilla dropping in for "a beautiful day in The Villages".

Bombing can't be a good thing when the ground is so fragile and we are susceptible to sink holes.:22yikes:

I thought that I was the only one who had heard it. Had asked neighbors here in Bonita no one heard a thing. Thought that I was dreaming. They must be using the "Big One".
