Distance and Power
 

I have 2 club car carts 2005 and 2008 and I can easily travel 25-30 miles with the 2005 but only about 5-10 in the 2008 with the same comparable differences in power. The 2005 has 4 ea 12 volt batteries and the 2008 has 6 ea 8 volt batteries. Any ideas as to cause or cure?? Both sets of batteries are about 6 months old but different brands. Thanks for your help.

Could be a bad cell in one battery, a short in the system or a charger problem.
