Don't fall for this. Dogs chasing their own tails.
Dog chases his tail in circles - YouTube
I was looking at various Internet sites about the Villages and it dawned on me that this is an appropriate metaphor. Some other sites have had us chasing our own tails. Catching it does not really solve anything even when you get a good chunk as this is just what he/she who must not be obeyed is trying to get you to do. I noticed a code in a message on another site to be unnamed place that seems to imply I am the one trying to get others to chase their tails as a Sage with 6143 posts. :posting: I have 12633 posts as a Sage. And, I have never posted on that other site using any moniker. Back to the YouTube-- Another dog even steals the tail chasing dog's food while he/she is busy attacking its own tail! 34 second mark. Anyone have a picture of a dog, story, YouTube chasing its own tail you would like to post??? |
Funny Dogs Chasing Tails - Compilation - YouTube
Here's another funny post about dogs chasing their tails. :BigApplause: Our crazy Dalmatian did this in a car I was riding in while coming back from Virginia Lake in Reno, Nevada http://youtu.be/Iun4KpqwC-Y where she had just chased some ducks into the water. She broke loose from my grip as I was probably checking out some lady jogger. She was so excited on the way home from trying to get the ducks that she bit her own tail and flung blood on everyone of my car windows. Now if I could have just enjoyed this spectacle while eating some Oliver Shagnasty's Honey. http://www.kauaigrown.org/papayas-na...foods-and-cafe |
It seems to be all about boredom.

Cesar Millan and how to get a dog from chasing its tail. I think this applies to both dogs and humans about why you sometimes see them chasing their tails. I have certainly felt that in many instances in the past I have chased a tail that I should not have. |
These remind me of what I do for a living.

To get off the metaphor, an amusing story. Well, I guess it does speak to the metaphor. Our puppy and another puppy--two rambunctious males--on our dock in our Michigan marina, plus an older, wiser female. All are centered around one special treat they all love. The two males get into a fight over the treat. The female quietly walks up and steals the treat they forgot about due to the fight. She sits quietly munching, taking her time, while the other two tumble around. |

The problem of evil and hateful personal attacks.
I read the other Villages' sites once in a while as they sometimes mention Taltarzac725 and today they seem to be discussing God and the problem of evil in the world while also leveling their usual very personal hate filled rants. What's wrong with this picture???? The Sermon on the Mount does not seem to ring a bell with them. Do unto others as you would have done onto you.
I will not post on it. Is still seems like they are pulling on our tails trying to get us to start a spinning. |
