move Prism Comcast t.v. to lanai?
 

We have Prism from Century Link. I know we can, but don't know how.
How do I move my t.v. from the bedroom to the lanai for occasional use?

You sure? I believe Prism is thru Century Link.

If you have Comcast, connect a box to the cable outlet on your lanai. If you do have Prism thru C.L. someone who has that service might know the answer.

You're right, we have Century Link. SO, I need to know how to move my t.v. from bedroom to lanai when we are having company and watching a movie or sports. Then we'll move it back. I think, they (Century Link) said I can do this easily but I cannot remember if they told my how to do it. Thanks for the help.

If the cable box is wireless, just move the whole setup outside. If it has a coaxial cable connected to it, unscrew it from the wall and take all that out there.

If it doesn't work there is a good chance that the lanai outlet is not hooked up to the distribution block either in the low voltage panel in newer homes or outside on older models.
