Too bad he had to end his life as it did.

It was so sad that his life ended with so much acrimony between his wife, and kids.

RIP - Casey. You were one of a kind!

I'm listening to WVLG on this Sunday evening. Each Sunday evening WVG plays one of Casey Kasem's programs. Tonight tears are filling my eyes. I'm glad I was born in an era where music had stories and made sense. Songs about a first kiss, going steady, fast cars, beach songs, breaking up etc will always be a part of my life. I still have my 45s, albums, 8 tracks and cassette tapes. Just started thinking about DJ's such as Wolfe Man Jack and Buddy Dean from Baltimore. Thanks for the memories Casey Kasem and the music.
