Help me with healthcare and Dr. choices
 

My Nana just moved here and has to change her healthcare group. I know nothing about Medicare, A and B and Champva she has. I looked on line and seen United Health Care, Humana and bunches of others. Which is best and what are some good Dr's she can choose for primary. ( she is 94 and a bit of a hypochondriac, always has been) she also needs a specialist for her wet macular degeneration but otherwise her health is great. Please help we need to choose asap

Look in Rec News for when and where SHINE has counseling sessions. They will give you balanced, unbiased help.

She may be fine with what she has and doesn't need a Medicare Advantage plan. However, I defer to the great wisdom and knowledge of SHINE. The Villages Health system takes CHAMPVA and Medicare.
