A question about the pools...

I would like some info about the pools. We are coming in Aug for a week for a trial visit. I have read about the three kinds of pools. Can a resident use any pool in the Villages or just the ones in their neighborhood? Are they all heated year 'round? Are there any that you can use a floating mattress in? Are there any other restrictions? Are there water aerobic classes offered?
Thanks in advance for your time,
Kate

There are 4 types of pools in the villages. Country Club pools are restricted to people paying Country Club dues. Recreation center pools are used for formal programs. Pick up a Recreation News at any Rec Center when you get here. Neighborhood pools are for people over 30 years of age. Family pools allow children under 30. If you have a village ID permanent or temporary you can use all three, in any village, except for the Country Club. They are heated year round. Floats are allowed in the last two. most villagers use noodles. More details in the Recreation News. But here is a quick answer.

Should be: REGIONAL recreation center pools are used for formal programs. I didn't think you could use floats at any neighborhood pool, even the family pools which are at the regular recreation centers. I know the kids can use the floats that go around the arms.
