Village of Fruitland Park

A week ago I was headed east on 466A (just past Racetrack) and noticed a large parcel of land had been cleared on the right hand side (just past and adjacent to what I had thought was the eastern boundary of the new Village of Fruitland Park). Even had "for sale" signs along the road.

Does anyone know if this land is part of the new village or could it be more land adjacent to the new Villages boundary that the Developer could buy?

Probably more land that the developer could buy or anyone could buy but it is probably priced so high it would not be within the current business plan of The Developer. Fancy ME saying what Gary Morse thinks. I have never seen the man nor have many who live here.

He could, but my opinion is that he won't.

Isn't "just past" race track road on the south side the Village of Fruitland Park?

Yah, I knew that would be difficult to describe....I was talking across the street from racetrack, and going east from there....sorry I made it difficult to understand (and I probably am continuing to).

Thanks Bogie, that does help, and I now see that The Village of Fruitland Park extends further east than I thought.

I am pretty sure we sit across the aisle from each other but we both love The Villages and hope you do too. I haven't met Bogie either but I am a fan.
