Patriotic 4th of July songs.

This map shows the patriot songs played most in that State on the 4th of July. Not sure how accurate it really is though and I doubt if the song from the movie Team America: World Police plays all that often in the Villages.

Here's one that many of you have not heard.

Paul McCartney wrote this right after 9/11. He first performed at the concert that he organized for the first responders and their families a few months after the attack.

American Macklemore. Only in Alaska.

Alaska' s pick is appropriate. There were a number of Alaskans at the University of Denver Graduate School of Librarianship and Information Management when I was there in 1983-1984. They are a very hardy, independent folk and would probably relate with this very satiric take on patriotism.

I always thought "Taxman" was pretty patriotic considering one of the Founding Fathers complaints.

Oh, and in what way is American Woman patriotic, (unless you are Canadian)?
