Doctor Moskowitz
 

Tried making appointment with Dr Moskowitz,(@ Laurel Manor) and found out he is gone. He took over for Dr F. Davis (who retired) in January, and now he is gone. Doctor Davis is covering, twice a week, until new Doctor comes in. Does anyone know what has happened, or if Doctor Moskowitz moved on to better things? :shocked:

Poor bedside manner, changed medications without reason, came from teaching at a university...this being first private practice. They lost a lot patients including me. It was only a matter of time.
BTW he had a little Bio Med company on the side.

Oh Wow!!!! Didn't last long at all. Always liked Dr Davis

I believe he first came to TV by joining the Villa Medical Group. I attended one of his lectures that was the kick-off of his practice there. I later got the word that he didn't last long and had moved on.

He came from a research background and had very strong opinions about using particular medications. He went so far as to say that if he had a patient whose cardiologist didn't agree with him regarding medications, he would fire the cardiologist.

That's when I decided he couldn't be my primary care physician. No one fires my cardiologist.

I was also told that he didn't have a good bedside manner, which I'm sure would cause many patients to chose another physician.

fired for .. sleeping on the job ..four times found asleep at his desk ..can you believe that ?
took many patients off meds issued by other doctors to the point that it caused problems .... serious problems

Ok. Really? Let's just say he's no longer in practice here, and maybe didn't have the best bedside manner. I doubt many of the commentators are qualified to judge his professional skills.

I know the truth .. sorry you don't recognize people are qualified in ways you know not of ..

He's not practicing here any longer. What does it matter? End it.

seems the fact that he is no longer practicing here .. doesn't justify the fact that you want this post to end//G.w> isn't president also but we still talk about him//the Romans are gone ..yet we talk about them...on this forum ..

He could return LOL ..oh No!!
