It truly was a great time had by all. Donna let us wear her crown. The men graced us with their presence (ladies on the lanai, men in the living room and all were content).

Red, you did a wonderful job. Thanks so much for taking the pictures and posting them. Also, I really appreciated your help in setting up and all the work you did during the party. Yes, all the ladies and men who helped, I thank you.

Golfnut and Mrs. Golfnut: your home was a big hit. I promise we cleaned it all up. Everyone admired the coziness and warmth of your decorations and furniture. Thank you for allowing me to use it these past 3 weeks.

All, if you couldn't or didn't attend this gala, have no fear, when Ms Kathie moves to TV, this will be an ongoing event. Party Girl, I am!! Shy, I'm not!!

Sounds like a great party ---- wish I'd been there! Oh, I forgot! I was there and had a wonderful time. Since I managed to stay out of camera range, I thought at first I might have missed a super party----no way!

Thanks for the report and pics on the jammie party. It looks and sounds like you guys had a blast! And rightly so, given by Miss Hostess with the Mostess, Kath. Dontcha love it - new friends built right in when you move there.

I forgot to tell you. Please leave the sofa in the middle of the living room. I moved it there to cover the glass of red wine that I spilled last evening. Do you think Golfnut will notice? Probably not but Mrs Golfnut might.

Bogie, the wine spill wasn't too bad, it is just a lovely rose color now. The cigarette burns on the carpet and one leg of the coffee table might be a problem. Sorry, Golfnut, I just had one beer too many. You know how we drunken redheads get -- wild and careless!

My Dear Miss Bucket,

I am so sorry the party was not up to your standards. Perhaps you should hold all such soirees from this day forward.

Now, would a lady of your breeding deign to chastise her hostess in such a fashion? Methinks not. Perhaps the better solution would be for Ms. Bucket to remain in her telly and have Hyacinth (or her alter ego who is truly a delight and charming to boot) attend in her stead.
