Line Dancing LSL this a.m.
 

I was looking at the LSL web cam and saw a sm. group dancing, looked like a great time of line dancing, at 9: 26 a.m. today. Anybody know if this was an impromptu gathering or is there, like a club for line dancers. Wish I lived there, I would soooo like to do that; great exercise, great fun. Love to dance. Geez, I have to get down there soon.

I'm not there yet either, Jerseygirl, but I like you, have seen the dancing on the webcam...check it all the time, makes me feel like I am there.
I checked into it a little and I think it is the linedance classes that are offered. They practice and learn in the morning and dance at night. I want to join that when we get there. You are so right about the excercise and great fun I imagine. Well fun after I untwist my two left feet.

Where do the message time stamps come from? The previous message showed 10:48 but the camera timestamp was 10:46.

It is a dance class. Just show up. They are too far ahead of me so I am taking 'Line Dancing for Dummies' at the Life Long Learning College. I have 2 left feet so will repeat the class once or twice. Maybe someday I will be good enough for the LSL classes.

I tried Beginners Line Dancing. I was a complete nerd. :dontknow:

Just so you know .... it isn't for beginners (at least the one I attended). The instructor kept referring to moves as "you know that one, we learned it last year". Very confusing for a newbie with no athletic ability at all. Most people I talked to have been taking the beginners class for years.

So I'll be joining Hope at Line Dancing for Dummies! I have a feeling I'll be repeating it time and time again. But that's OK, I'm retired!! :bigthumbsup:

Susan: Yeah, I can't wait to get there. Love line dancing. Haven't done it in along time so I will be joining BFAL in the beginners class. Those folks dancing under the little gazebo this a.m. where def. pros. I was impressed. Johnny: I just found the web cam by accident and love, love, love checking it out. Only problem is, there's no sound. I would just love to be able to hear the music. But, that would be tooo special and I may just change my mind about moving there (listening from home.) NOT! Glad to see Kathie posted site to see the 2 web cams. That Kathie, she's just darn everywhere. Is there a thread on this board you ever miss Kath? I'm so dang impressed.
