When I asked about Brownwood and the new town square this is the reply I got from our Villages Guest Coordinator, "I am sorry that we do not have any maps of new town square area. Brownwood Paddock Square is still in the planning stages and we do not have any time frame for completion as of yet. When I get information, I will be happy to pass on to you. Have a great day!"

This is the only thing I have found so far on the official TV web site, http://www.thevillagescommercialprop...-brownwood.asp

Lots of dirt moving going on over there. When Lake Sumter Landing was being built VNN had a show on Friday where they showed progress each week. It was fun watching LSL being created even though it was from afar. No one allowed in the area. Before it was opened to the public we were assigned a day to go visit the town.

as each new square is built it's seems to be a 2 year process for retail stores and restaurants to move in we'll all be dancing in brownwood long before we'll be shopping.

Government wise, it will be no different from Spanish Springs, which is in Lady Lake.
