Where can I find powder puffs for putting on talcum or baby powder

I don't do a lot of shopping and thought maybe someone besides me would like to comment on a shopping info thread.

Just in case, my question for today: where can I find powder puffs? Not the kind you use in a compact, but the kind for putting on talcum or baby powder? Have looked at CVS, Walgreens, Target...no such item. Any help?

Have you tried on line?

I just googled it and Amazon has some nice ones.

My hubby worked in the asbestos removing industry. Did you know TALC , if made I the US , can have as much 50 percent asbestos ,from Canada , it can have as much as 85 percent asbestos.
Use corn starch wherever you would use talc Please!

I googled this and according to the American Cancer Society US talc powder for home use has no asbestos since the 1970's.

I buy mine from Vermont Country Store. They have so many things that aren't readily available anymore.

Here's a link for you.

Hubby said that his asbestos abatement classes teach and warn there workers about asbestos in body powder. Hospitals warn new mothers not to use talc but to use cornstarch.i have also noticed make up companies have promoted mineral based powders . If you read your make up ingredients you will notice most are talc based. The government knew this concern about asbestos and cancer in 1920's and hid it in their records until the 60's . (My husband is one of the last generation of asbestos workers. )
Hubby' s statement to me" would the government lie?" I feel this situation is why there is so much cancer in our generation.....??

You can do as many clowns do, who use a lot of talc putting on their makeup. Pour the talc in a sock, tie a not in the top of the sock and dust away. The powder goes through the sock material. Works great.

Just goes to show you, when someone needs an answer either silly or serious, count on the friends at TOTV. Thanks everyone.
