golf cart rental
 

Having last minute guests and need golf cart rental---March 1 for 3 or 4 days and also again on March 22 for probably a week. Have tried advertised rentals but none available. would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks :)

Did you try Villages Golf carts? Since you're talking March, they may be able to accommodate. We had guests in late Jan and rented a cart just for 24hrs. They said Feb was real booked up. Cost for 24 hrs is $18 for 2 passenger. Pretty basic cart though...probably only goes 15 mph and has no side curtains/enclosure.

thanks for your reply. Tried but they had none available. Found that hard to believe with all of those you see behind their store in Lake Sumter!!!!!!!

Stopped in at Lake Sumter today and was able to rent a cart for a day for guests arriving tomorrow. They didn't have much, but, apparently they get a fair number of no shows on reservations. She did say March was pretty booked (but that's what they told me about Feb back in Jan). Anyway, if all else fails when your guests arrive, maybe go back there and see what they have.

Greg...Villages golf carts does have some 4 passenger rentals...I believe it was $39/day, but, not positive. You can rent by the day but may run into the same availability problems as SandyBill has encountered.
