Where is a good place to get normal maintenance done on my car??
 

Please don't tell me to go to Tire Choice on Wedgewood Lane. I went there today to get the oil and filter changed on my car. The price started out @ $29.99 which included Oil, Filter, Lube and tire rotation. A couple of minutes went by and the service writer recommended that all the fluids be changed. This included brake fluid, antifreeze and transmission fluid. The price for this service was $299.99. I declined and stated that I only wanted my oil and filter changed. When it was time to pay the bill there was add ons for shop supplies and oil disposal. The bill came to $59.21. Needless to say I will never return to Tire Choice and I will never recommend them to anyone. I will appreciate any recommendations as to a good honest place to get my car's maintenance done. Thanks

Wal Mart works for me they do better work than a few places I've tried around here.

What is the year and make of your car? A Mercedes or BMW is differnet than a honda or a chevy as to where I would take my car.

this subject has been around a few times before, Sumter Tire in Wildwood is the place i reccomend, it,s more than a tire shop.

For basic oil change, I vote for Wal-Mart. For more, I found Tri-Counties off of 466 to be extremely good and honest.
