Or so says my daughter. Told her I was going to a belly dancing class at Nonie's this morning. She absolutely did not believe me. When she finally did, that was her comment. She wasn't that far off the base, either.

Ladies, it was so much fun and such a great workout. Adele, the instructor, has been doing this for many, many years and truly knows her stuff. We danced, we pranced, we shimmied, we flirted with veils and jingled our hips. We also laughed our rears off.

Guys, go play golf while your ladies take this class. You'll truly enjoy the 4th hole at the Orange Blossom course -- at least the guys who were trying to hit their balls did. They gawked, they cheered and they applauded.

So, if you're female and not doing anything next Wednesday between 10:30 and 11:30 am, consider trying this class out. If you're male, go golf Orange Blossom. Either way, you'll have a great time and both of you will get some form of exercise (we ladies will get the most and even have the most fun).

Sorry, Jan, too busy dancing to pull out the camera. Maybe when we're much better and have full costumes. Yeah, right! But you can dream.

BTW -- I did forget to mention for those who want to join but feel they can't do some of the moves because of physical limitations, not a problem. I have arthritis in the spine, shoulder and hip, mainly the shoulder, though. If I couldn't do a move, I just ignored that step. Twas okay with everyone. No forcing to do what you can't.

OMG, Havant laughed so hard since Ted Mac's amature hour!!!

We wiggled and jiggled and laughed so hard we cried!!! The golfers on the 4th tee were not doing too well hitting their balls.Couldnt keep their eye s on it!!! : :yikes:

We hurt all over and Im not sure if it was from the contorshinist moves or watching each other and "belly" laughing at the same time.

Ladies, send your guys out next Wednesday and come join us on my lanai for wiggling jiggling good time. I personally guarantee you a rip roaring great time. :hot:

You should have a box of Depends at the door for all of us upon entering. What's a funny vision is all these ladies belly dancing with Depends on?? LOL..

I can just imagine how funny it must've been. Sorry I caught this bloody cold and couldn't make it. And, .... I won't be here next week so I'll just have to pass until I return for good.

I can imagine how you all were laughing, remember the lunch with you, Chels and I when we almost got thrown out of the restaurant cause we were laughing so hard? Hysterical! You ladies are really bad.

Red, thanks for writing that is you can not do a move don't worry. I was in a horrific auto accident and my movement is limited at times.

I'd suggest the Spanish Springs webcam be relocated to Nonie's place on belly dancing days. Think of the publicity and advertising for TV !!!!!!

Thanks Nonie and RW - I am this close (can you see I'm holding my thumb and finger close together) to talking hubby into buying now!! Hopefully our Preview visit the end of May will push him over the edge!! I can only hope!! Can't wait to be an in-person sistah! Lord knows I have plenty of belly to dance!
