Weird reference made to the old movie Gaslight in this movie The Darjeeling Limited.

That's the movie were a husband attempts to drive his wife insane so that he can find some loot which had ended up in their house before their marriage. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaslight_(1944_film)

This Director's works is a really acquired taste. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wes_Anderson Found most of his movies odd. Liked Bottle Rocket though.
