I have a hot date. What's good at Nancy Lopez' Legacy Restaurant this summer (2014)?

Anything from their menu is excellent.

My favorites are the lobster al forno appetizer, the rack of lamb (rare), and a glass of syrah. Dessert will be later at home.

The stuffed sole was wonderful, I had it twice last week.

Never ad a bad meal there. My go to dinner item is FILET BLANCO Y NEGRO, always cooked perfectly and melts in your mouth.

And my favorite is Filet Marchand de Vin. Love the complementary bananas foster prepared table side on Thursday nights. Mmmm

This was a neighborhood dining out night so I did not want to post just when we were going as someone might have figured out my personal details.

I had a Pot Roast Sandwich. Very good and the service from the waitresses was excellent. We got one of the smaller rooms with a painting of what looked like Nancy Lopez's father.

All of the other members of our group enjoyed their meals. There were about 16 of us scheduled to go but some read their calendars wrong, were late, had company, or were busy with something else. So there were only 11 of us. No romantic date though for me. That would have been difficult with 16 other people or however many did show up.

I did mention TOTV at the night out dinner and some of these people are also my Facebook friends. So, maybe we will get some more Lynnhaven people on TOTV. We have been here in Lynnhaven 9 years now.

Went there again tonight for steak. Bryan is the best waiter. He is also at Hemingway's, another favorite place owned by John. Dinner was excellent as always. Discreet service, top quality and only a dollar or two more for first class (for The Villages) dinner. I even love the meat loaf, Veal and Mushroom! Excellent fish. Great crab cakes for appetizer. I scratched my head and wondered why I don't go more often. Worth the trip. I doubt it is farther than Brownwood for me here in Mallory Square.
