remove ink on leather

I have a large ink spot (from ball point pen) on my light color leather car seat.

Does anyone know of a professional cleaner or how I can remove it?

Thank you for any help!

I always used aerosol hairspray; taught this when I worked retail selling shoes and handbags.

Hairspray works on clothes and I would assume leather. You also might want to try a Mr. Clean pad. They are fantastic.

A Mr. Clean Magic Eraser should do the trick.

Can you do this on a yellow leather Coach purse?

I've often heard about using hair spray to remove ink from anything leather.

Exactly what do you do? Spray and wipe????

Bonanza, be very careful with the hair spray. It will sometimes change the look of the leather--not the color, but the texture. I used it on a Coach purse, and it flattened out the leather. Don't rub too hard.

I have some leather cleaner you can use. I'll bring it to the RDOG meeting if you're going. It did not work on the hair dye the salon got on the purse. The hair spray worked better but didn't take it all off.

Hand sanitizer on a tissue.
