Looking for the man who wants to start a doo wop group
 
Hi, my name is Ron. Someone told me there was someone looking to start a Doo Wop group.I am a 71 year old male who has been singing Doo Wop for over 50 years. I do lead, backround and can harmonize. Have some nice music also. Just bought a house in the Villages and will be available late October permanently. If you post your add again with your contact, I will respond. Presently singing with the Villanaires up here in Mass.

Hi Ron, sounds like you will fit right in here in TV. We have some really great singers here that are almost professional. We also do a lot of doo wop at our karaoke events. You must try to join us sometime, they are held mostly at country clubs or restaurants. If you have an interest in joining us when you get here, please PM me and I'll give you the schedule. This is not a formal club just an event that occurs a couple of nights every week.

If you haven't heard it already...there's a Doo Wop group of men who meet on Saturday mornings at Panera. Generally they sit on the veranda at a long table...can't miss them because they also do some singing!

The doo wop on the porch gang no longer meets at Panera.They meet Saturday mornings at 9:30AM at the little park across from Sonny's Barbeque>
