This is a vary rare event for a beach community.
My sister works at the high school and all of the windows of her car were blown out. The guy in the blue sunglasses was one of my best friend's brother. Thank God that no one was killed or seriously injured. Revere hit by tornado - Metro - The Boston Globe |

Didn't realize you were from Revere! Saw pictures of the damage. What a mess for sure. So glad no one was injured. Property can be replaced, people can't.

New said it was a category 2. That's pretty strong.

Glad your people are safe...

Glad everybody is safe. We are in Nahant for the summer and I didn't even think to bring my tornado alert radio from TV. We had a lot of rain but not much wind from the storm.
Next year I'll throw the radio in when I pack. My cell phone indicated a tornado warning but I didn't see it. |

I said, "No, a tornado hit Revere". I asked if he had heard from my sister and he said that she was at work at Revere High School. When I finally talked to her, I found out that the whole side of the building outside her office had been torn off. She's fine and as far as I know there were not serious injuries. |
