My printer is on strike, won't feed paper
Any idea where I can have this looked at before buying a new printer?
It's an Epson Artisan 810, all-in-one printer. The printing part is fine, it just won't feed the paper  |

When my printer did the same thing a couple of years ago, I was told by folks at both Staples and Best Buy: "It's not worth getting fixed. It'll cost more than a new one!" Not exactly what oone wanted to hear, but I bought a new printer for less than $150 and love it! SWR :beer3: |
You might have something stuck in the paper track. See if you can force a thick piece of paper through it. Assume you have already looked for an obstruction.

before buying a new printer, check to make sure you are printing from the paper tray and not a photo paper feed tray. This has happened to me, and I never print pictures. Still not sure how the settings get changed.

I'm afraid it's history... I looked at new printer prices and they are reasonable.
I think these companies should GIVE you the printer since you have to pay forever for high-priced ink! Okay, That was my rant-for-this-week ;-) |

And they are really easy to set up nowadays, unlike several years ago. We got ours for $90 a few years ago. Worth every penny. |
