Thread Removed- Really?

I recently started a thread for support of my sister-in-law that has a disease called Huntingtons. The moderators of this forum decided to remove this thread citing excessive bumping. Really? I was just trying to help a good cause and keep this thread alive . Thank you to those that donated ! I realize this thread isn't going to be up long so if any of you donate while it is up thank you for investing in the future of my family!!

Perhaps you might put the link in your signature line so that it is always there for reference!

If you have a question for us please send to us and we can reply. There is no need to keep bumping a thread throughout the day. As users log on they will see the thread in their new post and unread forums. It is in the site guidelines about bumping. It isn't the thread that is an issue but the etiquette.

We will look into making a donation as well.

Regards

I believe this requires some clarification. One bump post within the original thread was deleted as excessive. The thread was being bumped several times a day. Yes, it's a wonderful cause and everyone wants their important stuff to float to the top of "new posts"... But, if everyone bumped every thread, it would become unwieldy and detract from reading new content in the forum.

Again, the original thread still exists...it was NOT deleted.

To the OP, we wish the best for your family member and others afflicted with this awful illness.
