Sidelight mini-blinds
 

Has anyone had experience with purchasing and installing enclosed miniblinds for the sidelights of the front door? I have a half-sidelight on my cottage-style home and both Lowes and Home Depot have special order enclosed miniblinds which can be attached to the existing frame; my overall dimensions are 10" X 38". I'm concerned that there will not be sufficient clearance for this installation.

If Home Depot or Lowes will take them back if they don't fit then you have nothing to lose if you order them and they don't work out.
