Stanford breakthrough might triple battery life

Saw this online USA Today. If it gives 300 miles for a car, could we do monthly or annual recharges for a golf car? Wonder if we could get a golf cart lane to Disney World? :smiley:

According to the article they are developing a pure lithium battery. With a 300 mile range for a car we should be able to make it to Disneyland in a golf cart.

Also was mentioned that the price of a new car with that technology would be around $25,000, we can kiss our gas guzzlers good-bye. And kiss OPEC good-bye at the same time.
