Question about Village of Spring Arbor
One of the homes we are interested in, is in Village of Spring Arbor.
A little confused ( nothing new for me ). It states it is outside the villages, but on the map seems to be in the villages. We realize this is a family area, and would have no problem with that. However, would this mean we could not use the rec centers, or club activities? Thanks for any help. We are coming for the VLS tour in Sept, and our heads are starting to spin a little with the research.:) |
The family areas have little to no amenities and people who live there cannot use TV amenities except those open to the public (town squares, movie theatres, etc.). So, no to rec centers, swimming pools, shuffleboard courts, etc. Sorry.
Good luck in your search. Who knows, your perfect house may come on the market the day you get down here (has happened more than once). |
Spring Arbor is also not golf-cart accessible to The Villages. It's a short distance east of TV off of CR466. It was built by the developer for employees in the early 2000's.

Dear Dennis & Rose, I was also born and raised in NYC...Manhattan, upper east side and then moved to Long Island, Nassau county, Massapequa Park. Where did you live in NYC? Where on Long Island?

Grew up in Yorkville when it was still a neighborhood 65 St.
Moved to the island after my 1st marriage-North Merrick In South Freeport now for quite a while. After Sandy though, my love of living on the water has been greatly reduced. Hoping we find something we love in the villages. What we love about it, people don't seem to move there waiting for the end. They go there to keep on living and enjoy life. Seems to be the place for us. |
