After purchasing 4. Travel trailer tires at a local tire store off hwy 27 3 of the 4 failed tread separation and blowout tires were replaced with 4 new ones 2 more separated on our last trip. Changing tires on interstate is down right dangerous. Not wanting to breakdown again I bought 4 new tires on the road. Upon return to the villages I got the usual response they are out of warranty. Both sets of tires lasted less than 18 months, the tire store in question seemed unconcerned that 6 out of 8 failed for no reason at all,other than poor construction. The tire brand is towmaster. Tap in dangerous tires towmaster and u will find a large number of the same type of failures. All sizes. Bad thing is your in danger even if u never buy these tires,how many rv s do u pass in a days time. There are 3 of these stores in the villages better off sticking with the Goodyear store. U get what u pay for.

This sounds like a class action may get started against this manufacturer and/or a recall order from the government????

You certainly do make a good case for performing due diligence prior to any potentially critical purchase. The internet, in the right hands, can be a life saver.

Tow master has 13 similar complaints including a spare tire that exploded. go to the DOT website, cars, then tire complaints. They would like to see your report entered.
