"FORT MYERS, Fla. — Thrill-seekers will be grabbing their spotlights and loading up the ol' bangstick as Florida's public alligator hunt starts Friday night.

"The state released 5,886 permits for this year's hunt. With each hunter receiving two tags, more than 11,000 alligators could be harvested the next 11 weeks, starting at 5 p.m."

Well you stole my line chicken, I was about to say I'm putting that on my bucket list.
Glad to see the harvest numbers are increasing, still in my opinion not enough, especially in this area.

I may have bagged a couple of big lizards, but I have never raised a butterfly. In my book, you're ahead.
