Have burned out 2013 Yamaha Headlight

Has anyone changed a burned out headlight on 2013 Yamaha Drive? I assume you can just replace the bulb. How do you get at it? I removed the whole unit that includes the turn signal but did not see how to get at the headlight bulb?

Thanks in advance for the help.

remove the 3 10mm bolts and the light will come out of the bezel. Remove the 2 Phillips head screws on the side (not the ones that hold the bracket on) and the bulb will be right there.

You can get a replacement bulb at Walmart.

I just take ours to The Villages Golf Cart Store in LSL and they replace it for me.

I've opened up the light and exposed the broken bulb. How do I get the old bulb out of the silver/chrome mount? I cant seem to free up whats left of the bulb stem to pull it out. Its almost as if the white wire is attached to the bulb. I've uploaded a PIC to help explain what I'm taking about.

Can anyone help?

Our headlight also burned out and I went to TV Golf Carts at LSL and bought a new bulb. Went home to replace, what seemed to be a simple operation turned out to be very complex. Put all the bits and pieces in a baggie, went back to the small maintenance shop in the rear by the the parking lot. They replaced it in less than 15 minutes, no charge.

The white wire is connected to the bulb. Purchase an H3 bulb and you will see. Your almost done, It is a very simple task. You will have to remove the ground wire with a Phillips head screw driver.

there are two types of h3 bulbs one is cheap about 3bucks and some what dim the other is blue and much brighter you should always change both if one burns out,the blue are much brighter around 20 apiece but if you drive at night they are well worth the investment,do not touch the bulb glass,if you do wipe with a clean cloth and alcohol

I’m happy to report I’ve managed to replace the bulb thanks to the folks who replied to my post. In hind sight, my expectation was I would just replace the bulb and became confused when I could not get it out of the socket. Once I saw the H3 replacement bulb came as one piece with the socket and single wire running from it, the light came on for me! I had never encountered an H3 before and did not even consider anything other than literally changing only the bulb. I hope this helps others who may need to replace there Yamaha headlight.
