Satisfaction Survey for Residents from the Developer?
 

I thought I'd heard that every year the Developer does a comprehensive resident satisfaction survey. ::) Did I dream it, or is there such a survey coming up? (I know that the POA recently did one; that isn't the one I'm asking about). V7, I bet you know!

Yeah, the notice came in the mail today along with your logon code. It runs for about 3 weeks and starts sometime soon.

Seems like the only results that you hear from this survey are ones that are favorable to The Villages or the CDD. I have never seen the entire results published anywhere.

The one that is done by the POA isn't always favorable about everything so I am wondering why none of the concerns that are mentioned in that survey seem to appear on this forum. One serious one was about the quality of Designer Homes built by a certain builder in Largo. That seems important - not just small stuff.

Don't They Broadcast The Results On VNN Anymore?
 

I have a dish, so I don't get VNN. But in prior years I recall that after the compilation of results, each key Villages manager broadcast the results of the survey that were in his/her area of responsibility (recreation, maintenance, security, etc.). In some cases, they would say what was being done about any "low marks" and in others that they would study the issue.

Don't they do that anymore?

They put the various reports in the Daily Sun. Not all at the same time and you have to read it to find out that it is a survey result. Every year, I ask that they put all the results in a special section at the same time with the comments that we are asked to add at the end.

Contrary to what was said above, the POA does put some of the positive comments. I wish the Villages would put any of the comments or give us access via the internet to the comments.

And the other post was correct, the survey results usually start with something like "according to the survey we are doing a great job in (put the area here).
