Shower Remodel
 

Bath Fitters just put in a new acrylic shower unit over our tile one. Seems like a nice job so far but the floor was unusually slick. I almost fell twice and called them about the safety issue. The first lady said another lady handled that stuff and she was gone on a long weekend (I had called late on Thursday the day I first used the shower). She said when the other lady got back Monday she would probably be "catching up" and it might be Tue. before she called. Obviously our safety issue was not all that important. No call Mon. nor Tue. It was eleven days before they called and she apologized for any "inconvenience". I have taken other steps to correct the safety problem.

They had to change the original installation date because the door was not ordered early enough (they had several weeks to do this). I later had to call to see if it came in (which it had) and to see when they were going to install the door. I felt they should have followed up and kept us advised of the status so we could plan accordingly. Quality looks okay but service sucked.

I also had a bad experience with the woman working in that office. Bathfitters has horrible customer service. This was a while ago and if she is still working there they obviously do NOT care about their quality of customer service.

The technicians and sales person did a good job but the office staff was just awful.

My wife is looking to see if she can find the woman's name.

Beware of any company that does not care about providing good customer care.

Do you recall the name of this woman? It sounds very similar to what we dealt with. Would be interesting to see if it is the same person. Come on Bathfitters.. How hard is it to find decent people to handle your customer.

Wife says the lady's name was Chrissy. We had similar issues as you. So we wanted to reply as well. We are filing a formal complaint to the company's headquarters. Would you like to join us?
