Does anyone know what the results are of the Sumter County Sheriff's investigation regarding Saturday night's (August 16) violent attack on the female homeowner and robbery at her house?

I just heard about it today myself. Has anyone else heard anything about it?

Haven't heard or read a thing!

I heard it firsthand today from a friend of the victim, who is still hospitalized.
But, I have another question, are TV and Sumter County Sheriff's Department permitting prison work release programs to clean up trash along roadsides in residential areas? Who were those fellows in the neon green jackets working last week around the Duval mailboxes and on Buena Vista from O'Dell Circle to 466A? That's where I saw them and the unmarked transport van.

Just curious why this is in the feminine Forum.

We saw the Sumter County CSI unit there last night but did not know about anything happening there.

Where in Duval did this take place and why is everyone so quiet about it ?

My thoughts, too. Not knowing facts makes it worse and causes more worry.

This is disturbing on so many levels.. Can someone confirm that these statements are correct and we have not heard anything ANYWHERE about this crime???
