Chula Vista Practice Putting Green

Just drove by the new greens at the Lakes (Hacienda Hills) and they are perfect...... why, oh why, is the one little ole practice putting green at Chula soooooo bad??????...If they can put in new greens on nine Lakes Course, what is so difficult about fixing a very well used practice putting green....Pro shop said they are thinking about moving green...

Sounds like you have an answer to your question. If they're planning on moving it or building a new one, why would they spend any money on the current green?

Hi Dr. Boogie

the key word there was "thinking about", and that was 5 months ago...Ugh!

Was told that the executives Chula Vista/Mira Mesa funded by CDD and only "staffed" by Hacienda. Finances for repairs etc. come from CDD not developer. Therefore call the appropriate CDD......

That would be your amenity fees.

Makes sense since the golf courses are amenities. In fact they are probably the most expensive amenity to maintain.

From Eric VanGorder:

It is budgeted to have a newly constructed green in Spring of 2015 on back side of recreation center and pool area. The old green will be over seeded and used as a practice green for this fall. The old green will be converted to a practice chipping green next spring.
