going to Cattle Baron..what to order

Hello. We have a group going to Cattle Baron. I have not been there in years. I think it was our first year, first visit. What would you suggest to order?
Thanks

Prime Rib. I have never had a bad one there.

I agree. The prime rib is good and I also like any of their fish dishes.

Please let us know how dinner was. My hubbie and I went on our first visit about 7 years ago and have never gone back due to the food and noise from Katie Belle's. It was touted as a fine dining experience and our dinner there was far from that!

The escargot appetizer is excellent and at $4.99 is also a steal. The Hawaiian chicken is very good. Probably stay away from the steak offerings. They are pretty far from steakhouse quality.

I like their Chicken Parmesan. My brother had the Veal parm and said it was good.

...... and I like the crab stuffed sole..... But, fine dining it 'aint! That said, I still like it there, lively, good music, people to watch. Lots going on.

We "dined" there during our LSL stay in June 2013. We were very disappointed in our meals. The entrees very very greasy and really had no flavor.

It was fun watching Katie Belle's below, but the dining experience was not what we had anticipated.

We will give it another try one of these days, but it is not high on our list of places in which to dine.

Cattle Baron Club

We love to go on Market nights.
You get to walk around and see the vendors, listen to music and have supper.
Where can you go to have a meal, good soup and salad bar along with entertainment.
We always check the paper to see what the specials are and feel the price is fair for the quality.

When we have family in town they all like to go to Cattle Club, because they can seat a large group and it is the villages.

We all enjoyed the restaurant. I had the sirloin. I ordered it med-rare and it came out well. The waitress took it back and returned with a sirloin that was excellent. Other than that, 25 of us had tasty meals and we were served by a wonderful wait-staff. I'd have to say...I was pleasantly surprised. They handled our large group with ease. I would defiantly bring a large group here again.

So glad it worked out well for you.

Cattle Baron is one of our favorite places. We love sitting out on the balcony and enjoying a drink while people watching and listening to the music. I think the food is very good and a good value. The soups are always good and I like the salad bar. The bread is really good also.
