Frogs in my bathroom

Does any one know how frogs would be getting in my bathroom! I live on the historic side in a manufactured home. On two occasions I have had one of those tree? frogs (with the suction feet) appear in the same bathroom at night time. Any advice on how they would be getting in would be appreciated! Bob

Check your window frames first before you get all creepy. WHO wants to lower themselves on the throne with THAT thought? EEEK.

When we moved into our brand new home here, I saw frogs in the bathroom. I had raised a window and the screen was not fit in properly. Hope it is a simple solution.

Frogs can get into your house in many ways. Just google it and you will find many very funny stories about frogs getting into the bathroom. One of the most common ways that they get in is by falling into your vent pipe. Take a walk around your home and see is there are any tree branches close to your vent pipes on your roof.

Check for gaps around water pipes, coming through the floor.

I'd freak out for sure but just know it happens in other places as well. I've heard of two instances---one in a Dell Webb home and one was south of 466. BOTH were found in the toilet. YUCK!! I was told tree frogs...they come in through the vent pipes.

I found 2 in my home when I returned last October. Cute, caught and released!

I thought frogs were about the size of a...........plum. But HERE they can be the size of an almond or smaller. They sometimes look like BUGS.

I am terribly relieved I don't have to kiss any of them since I already have my prince and all.

I can't get to like geckos either. I have a small sign on my porch that says, "I already have insurance, go away."

Barefoot and Nonie find something good in all creatures. I can't feel warm toward alligators either.

We're with you.

Thanks for the reply's! BUT, These frogs are at least 3" to 4" long and I do not have any windows in the bathroom. All windows in the house are always closed! All gaps around my pipes have been sealed. There are no tress around the house. The only thing I can think of is the ceiling fan. That would mean that they would have to crawl up the house and get on the roof. Still puzzled?

Frogs come in any portal. Nobody can tell where yours come in. Mine come in the garage door, weasel through the lanai thresh-holds.
There is a breach between your house and outside. But nobody is likely to find it by guessing.

Welcome to Florida! They don't bite!

Two common ways are from a roof vent pipe, as mentioned, and also from a broken sewer clean out plug. I find this often.
Landscapers will break the clean out plug and frogs, snakes, etc can easily get into your plumbing and into your toilet.

Check your clean out plugs.

Respectfully,

Frank
