anyone who attended the benefit concert on aug 29 for John Peck, a quadruple amputee young marine who is hoping to get cadaver arm transplants, was treated to a fantastic show performed by Roy Michaels, totally gratis... The Music of Our Lives... he is from ft lauderdale and was selected in 2010 to become the lead vocalist to tour with The Brooklyn Bridge after the death of beloved Johnny Maestro, which he did for three years...At the American Legion he did a show with all the favorites of our years: rock, doo wop, jay and the americans, tom jones, inspirational and patriotic, all done so well with no wasted time in between, just one great song after another! if he ever gets a gig at the savannah center, you will not regret buying a ticket! i believe the concert raised $7,000, including a check for $1000 from the Villages Marine organization. his website is Home
