I drove into SS today behind a large black SUV with the logo ASSIST on the back window, surrounded by several bullets of information presumably showing what services they provide in the Care Industry. One of the Bullets had POA in the line.

Does anyone have any information about what this is please?

I did a search on ASSIST health care and poa and came up with:

Related to the health care power of attorney is a separate document known as an advance health care directive, also called a "living will". A living will is a written statement of a person's health care and medical wishes but does not appoint another person to make health care decisions.

I saw an ASSIST vehicle this morning. The bullet was POA and Health Care Surrogate Services. So I think that I am right that POA is Power of Attorney.
